Technical board re-scrutiny: 664 failures turn into passes

A total of 667 students saw their grades changed after the re-scrutiny and re-evaluation of the 2026 SSC (Vocational) and equivalent examination results under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, with 664 students moving from fail to pass and 46 securing GPA-5 for the first time.

The revised results were published at 10am on Thursday (September 10).

According to the Technical Education Board’s statistics, marks were changed in 1,372 subjects among the answer scripts submitted for rescrutiny, resulting in changes to the letter grades of 667 students.

Of them, 664 students who had initially failed were declared successful after the review. Meanwhile, 46 students newly achieved GPA-5.

A total of 127,964 students appeared in the SSC (Vocational) and equivalent examinations under the Technical Education Board this year. Following publication of the original results, 20,307 students applied for rescrutiny.

They submitted a total of 34,305 answer scripts for review. The subsequent changes in marks across 1,372 subjects led to revised grades for 667 students, including the 664 students who moved from fail to pass and the 46 who earned GPA-5.
