Technical fault delays flight to London by 4 hours

Biman's Dhaka-Sylhet-London flight was delayed by nearly four hours due to a technical glitch. The flight was scheduled to take off at 10am but left Dhaka at 1:50 pm.

A passenger on flight BG 201 said that the plane returned to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after takeoff because the landing gear did not fold properly. The passengers were later transferred to another plane.

After the plane change, passengers complained that the new plane was relatively old and had insufficient seats. Many passengers objected to this. There were some high-ranking passengers on the plane.

A Biman official admitted to the technical glitch and said that such errors are not uncommon in airline operations. He said that no passengers were left behind in Dhaka.
