Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, there will be no 'Aynaghar' or 'Bhater Hotel' in DB office
He told this during a press briefing after visiting the DB office on Monday afternoon.
He also said, 'DB members will not arrest anyone in civilian clothes. They must wear jackets and carry ID cards.'
'They will not do anything outside the law,' he said.
Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, 'If I also order them to do anything outside the law, they should not do it.'
Stating that there was no corruption in the appointment of SIs, he said, 'If I do any corruption, then you should disclose it. I have no objection.'
Thanking the media, he said, 'The propaganda of the Indian media has reduced a lot because the Bangladeshi media is publishing true news. "When the media publishes true news, it helps us take action."
