The International Crimes Tribunal has sentenced former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal to death after finding them guilty of crimes against humanity. In his immediate reaction following the verdict, Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman stated, "This verdict is extremely important in the history of justice. It has proved that the rule of law prevails in the country." He further emphasised, "It is a historic message for the next generation. It also conveys another message — that even the most powerful person cannot escape after committing a crime. Everyone will have to face the law sooner or later."&nbsp;&nbsp;
