Three more die of dengue in 24 hours, 1,674 admitted to hospitals

The Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services has reported that three more people died of dengue in the last 24 hours across the country. During the same period 1,674 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals.

This information was announced in an updated press release of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday (November 7).

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, the number of dengue deaths this year has risen to 458 after the latest three deaths. Of the new deaths two died in Dhaka Division and one in Barishal Division.

From January 1 this year till now a total of 1,47,580 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country. Of them 1,41,296 have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.

Currently 5,826 dengue patients are admitted to various hospitals across the country.
