A Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft made an emergency landing on the runway in Jashore due to a technical malfunction. However, the pilot is safe and the aircraft sustained no damage, the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate has said. The information was provided in an ISPR press release at 12:46 pm on Monday, March 9. The press release stated that the training aircraft made a precautionary emergency landing on the runway after a technical glitch was detected. The pilot was able to land safely. Technical inspections of the aircraft are underway following the incident.

যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটির কারণে যশোরে বাংলাদেশ বিমানবাহিনীর একটি প্রশিক্ষণ বিমান রানওয়েতে জরুরি অবতরণ করেছে। তবে পাইলট নিরাপদে আছেন এবং বিমানের কোনো ক্ষতি হয়নি বলে জানিয়েছে আন্তঃবাহিনী জনসংযোগ পরিদপ্তর। সোমবার (৯ মার্চ) দুপুর ১২টা ৪৬ মিনিটে আইএসপিআর এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানায়। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটি দেখা দেওয়ায় প্রশিক্ষণরত বিমানটি সতর্কতামূলকভাবে রানওয়েতে জরুরি অবতরণ করে। বৈমানিক নিরাপদে অবতরণ করতে সক্ষম হন। ঘটনার পর বিমানটির কারিগরি পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা চলছে বলে জানা গেছে।
