A different picture was seen at Dhaka's Kamalapur railway station on the day before Eid. Although it is usually crowded at this time, most of the trains are leaving with empty seats this time.

According to railway officials, all trains have been running on schedule since Friday morning and there has been no schedule disruption. The problems that occurred due to the accident in the previous few days have now been restored to normal.

Many are leaving Dhaka smoothly and comfortably as the pressure of passengers at the station is comparatively low. Passengers say that since Eid has been postponed by a day, many are leaving today to avoid the crowd the night before.

Many are also leaving easily because they have tickets. Many have left for home on the last day without hesitation as they have the opportunity to get tickets.

Railway authorities said that tickets have been sold until a certain time before Eid. No intercity trains will run on Eid day, but tickets for the day after Eid have started selling online.

Although the presence of passengers at the station is low, security measures are in place. Law enforcement is checking the tickets and allowing passengers to enter the station.

Rail officials have requested passengers not to climb on the roof of the train and said all measures have been taken to ensure a safe journey.
