Two ministers appoint PS, five state ministers APS

Two ministers of the new BNP-led government have appointed their private secretaries (PS) while five state ministers assistant private secretaries (APS).

A separate notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday (February 23).

Deputy Secretary Md. Moniruzzaman, OSD (Officer on Special Duty), has been appointed as private secretary to the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

Rabindra Chakma, Secretary (Deputy Secretary) of Chattogram Development Authority, has been appointed as private secretary to the Minister of Chattogran Hill Tracts Affairs, Dipen Dewan.

Md. Ibrahim Khalil has been appointed as assistant private secretary to the State Minister for Youth and Sports. Md. Aminul Haque.

Md. Junaid has been appointed as Assistant Private Secretary to the State Minister for Commerce, Textiles and Jute and Industries Md. Shariful Alam.

Md. Al Mamun has been appointed as Assistant Private Secretary to the State Minister for Health and Family Welfare. M. A. Muhith.

Md. Shariful Islam has been appointed as Assistant Private Secretary to the State Minister for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Cantonment Revenue Circle Farhan Labib Zeeshan has been appointed as Private Secretary to PM's adviser Mahadi Amin with the rank of the State Minister.

The Assistant Private Secretaries have been appointed as per the intentions of the State Ministers. They have been appointed in the pay scale of 22000-53060/-Taka as per the ‘Employment (Salary and Allowances) Order, 2015’ (9th Grade).

This appointment order will remain in effect as long as the State Ministers hold this position or intend to retain them as Assistant Private Secretaries.
