US-Bangla adds third Airbus A330 to its fleet, total aircraft now 25

US-Bangla Airlines, the country’s leading private carrier, has added its third wide-body Airbus A330-300 to the fleet, bringing its total number of aircraft to 25.

The new Airbus landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 8:30 am on Tuesday, October 21, after flying from Teruel, Spain. The 436-seat aircraft was formally received by senior officials of US-Bangla Airlines.

According to the airline, the newly inducted Airbus will be used in the future to operate flights on Saudi Arabia routes — Jeddah, Riyadh and Madinah.

At present, US-Bangla’s fleet consists of three Airbus A330-300s, nine Boeing 737-800s and ten ATR 72-600s, making it the largest private airline in Bangladesh in terms of fleet size.

The airline currently operates regular flights on all domestic routes, as well as international destinations including Kolkata, Chennai, Malé, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Guangzhou.
