Verdict on Shiekh Hasina in July uprising case to be broadcast live: Prosecutor

The verdict in the international crimes case against Sheikh Hasina and two others over the July uprising will be announced tomorrow and broadcast live, prosecutor Gazi Monowar Hossain Tamim said Sunday (November 16).

"Bangladesh Television will air the tribunal’s reading of the verdict with permission, and other media can also broadcast it live," he said.

The three-member International Crimes Tribunal-1 bench, led by Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumder, will deliver the verdict.

The other two members are Justice Md. Shofiul Alam Mahmood and Justice Md. Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.

The other accused are former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and former police IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, the latter having given testimony as an approver.
