"Presenting the true voice of the people through genuine media is a challenge, and we are determined to overcome it," said Rased Mehedi, Editor of Views Bangladesh.

Speaking at the first anniversary celebration of the country’s first real-time bilingual news portal, Views Bangladesh, Mehedi emphasized their commitment to providing constructive, high-quality, and socially relevant news rather than unnecessary gossip. He reiterated their dedication to uncovering the truth through in-depth journalism.

The grand event is taking place on Saturday (February 15) at the prestigious Holiday Inn in Dhaka.

At 11:30 AM, Editor Rased Mehedi officially inaugurated the anniversary program alongside distinguished guests.

The chief guest of the event is Abul Quasem Fazlul Huq, former professor of Dhaka University’s Bengali Department and the Chairman of Bangla Academy.

The programme, hosted by News Editor Maria Salam, has so far featured speeches from veteran freedom fighter and BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Advocate Fazlur Rahman, film director Fazlul Arefin, journalist and analyst Mohsin Habib, and National Poetry Council Secretary Rezawudin Stalin.

Views Bangladesh began its journey on December 28, 2023, with a modest yet dignified launch at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.

The event is attended by renowned media analysts, researchers, senior journalists, media professionals, politicians, diplomats, business leaders, and academics.

Highlighting Views Bangladesh's rapid growth, Mehedi stated that by maintaining truth, impartiality, objectivity, and dynamism, the platform has already attracted three million readers. "Our efforts and progress will continue," he affirmed.
