We will surely bounce back: proclaims PM
Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman today expressed firm optimism about the nation's future, asserting that Bangladesh will successfully overcome its current challenges and bounce back as a democratic state.
The Prime Minister made the remarks while inaugurating a comprehensive training program for teachers on career-oriented and technical education, held at the Bangladesh China Friendship conference centre on Sunday morning (June 7).
Emphasizing the importance of national history, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman stated that the nation must honor the contributions of the courageous individuals who made ultimate sacrifices to establish democracy and protect the country's independence, spanning from the 1971 Liberation War to the present day.
To properly institutionalize that respect, the Premier stressed the urgent need to build a knowledge-based state and society. He warned that surviving future global challenges would become increasingly difficult if the country fails to properly equip its citizens with advanced education, scientific understanding, and modern technology.
