Where is the scope to say 'no' to question of referendum: Rizvi

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has questioned where citizens will find the option to say no if they disagree with any of the four questions in the referendum.

He said this on Saturday, November 15 at Shyamoli in the capital after providing financial assistance on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to ailing radio artiste Afroza Nezami.

Rizvi said nothing done through manipulation can be sustainable. If 90 percent of the people cannot understand the purpose of the referendum, then the nation will remain in darkness.

He advised that the referendum questionnaire should be prepared in a way that ordinary people can understand clearly.

He said the Awami League is attempting to create chaos in the country using huge amounts of laundered money from India. They want to create a dire situation in the country.
