Who gets which ministry

The elected representatives of the BNP, which won an absolute victory in the 13th National Parliament elections, took oath as members of parliament on Tuesday (February 17) morning. Then, the oath-taking of the new cabinet members was held at the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building at 4pm.

A total of 25 MPs were sworn in as ministers. Before the oath-taking, the distribution of portfolios among the new cabinet members was finalized. Their list is given below—

Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury: Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Planning

Salahuddin Ahmed: Ministry of Home Affairs

Iqbal Hasan Mahmud: Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources

Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram: Ministry of Liberation War Affairs

Abu Zafar Md. Zahid Hossain: Ministry of Women and Children Affairs and Ministry of Social Welfare

Dr. Khalilur Rahman: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Technocrat)
